1. Application for Motion controller:

This motion controller based on Panasonic small FP-X series -PLC for buliding, with charactes of compact structure ,low cost and stable and reliable operation etc.

2. Hardware information:

1).FP-X Series 4-axis motion control system: FPX-C30/40/60T

a.High-speed operation: The 32-bit RISC processor provides the top-level processing speed in compact PLCs. The scan time is 2ms or less for 5000 steps. A high-speed PLC is indispensable for enhancing the functionality of equipment.

b.Built-in 4-axis pulse output (transistor output type): transistor output:2-axis 100KHz +2-axis 20KHz The multi-axis control, which previously required a higher-level PLC or additional positioning unit, or 2 or more PLC units, now can be achieved with only 1 FP-X transistor output type unit in a small space at a low cost.

c.It is convenient to use expanding plug-in unit:

C30 ,C40 can separate into 2 peices ,C60 can be separate into 3 pieces, so can improve function without increasing installation area and diversify expanding plug-in unit (I/O expansion, communication interface ,etc) so that deal with a wide variety of applications .The maximum number of I/O points is 300.

3. Software informaiotn:

1)Functional description for the software of teach pendant:

a.motion control: realize the combination of 1-4 axis motion control, and the servo motor driver in the straight line, plane, 3D and 3D rotating the precise of sports and track operation.

b.Man-machine interaction: Input, edit and save the motion trails. Support the image elements such as point, line, 3 points circular arc, fold line, multipoint curve, special function (user-defined). The input way is lead-through teaching. Programming the motion trail according to the input picture, finish the interpolation calculation and save data.

c.Expanding control: can realize track operation and motor motion control (variable speed motor running), I/O control organic integration and logic design.

d.Graphical programming: user can graphic operation through using coordinate or programming and teaching.

e. Automatic / manual mode: provide two kinds of modes with the manual and automatic operation which the users can debug the motor for each axis in manual mode line.   f.User’s interface: User can interchange the data with any PLC through the way of I/O link, and finish the control functions that is user-defined . Ports of 5I/1O are necessary for the user’s PLC and using the open protocol.?

g.Multi-workstations link by I/O: Linked by I/O communication for multi- workstations, such as the unified tatk time, emergency stop by alarm etc.

h.Permissions managements: provides secondary user permissions settings and safety management, that is, the system administrator can set operating password, while user manager can set the operators and for its distribution permissions.

i.Multi language operation: provides Chinese/English optional operation language.
